To You

I know you passed by and found nothing new;

One whole month - no posts... it's true.

Balance is necessary, but so hard to find:

When life gets taxing, I find I'm in a bind.

Flower bed to veggie garden I must convert;

Tot-schooling is vital... I dare not divert;

Bible study, essential.  Ah!  How I struggle!

Weight loss priorities forgotten in the muddle.

Reading, researching and weighing my options,

To ensure that we stay above the recession;

Crafting and such to earn 'spare change',

All so the essentials will stay within our range.

Into eternity it is that time disappears.....

My sincere apologies to you, my dears.

There it is... truth - simple, pure

Where'd the time go? I just awoke, I'm sure!

I am back today, in an attempt to do better -

I trust you weren't too bored with my letter

Writer, Poet... I know I am not,

But I couldn't resist this tiny (jot?)

(P.S.  I knew the rhymes would run out soon enough.) ;)
