It has been ages since the last time I tapped out words in this place. For a time, I found myself fumbling around in blazing heat, attempting to recapture bits of cerebrum that had been 'zapped'. Even the act of putting pen to paper - the old-fashioned way - while reclining before an oscillating standing fan bore no fruit. (I know... I should have invested in a laptop... I'd be tapping away under a palm tree somewhere)
Quitter, I am not... usually. However, there IS a limit on how much heat I can absorb before I start losing concentration, so I kept praying... and hoping. Then I awoke this morning to a changed atmosphere. Guess what?! It is finally raining, and the land is cooling down! Praise the Lord!
The garden is happy, I am happy, and the fans are all off. :D
(I will put up a proper post a little later, but I just had to get all my excitement out. Whoopeee!)
