There are places in the world where it sometimes rains for days.
You may even find places on the planet where the torrential rainfall ceases, only to be replaced by a steady drizzle that could take weeks to disappear.

And every single time we have one of these long-lasting torrential downpours, we seem to grow these.....

They just spring up out of nowhere!
Not the grass - the anthills - although the grass does grow too.
Is there anyone out there who can explain this phenomenon? Shouldn't torrential rains render this an impossible task?
